Sunless Tanning

Pacific Tan Co. offers two great sunless tanning options for clients. We have the MYSTIC TAN automated spray booth and the customized heat-infused airbrush spray tan by EVOLV available in salon or on location. Both sunless options will give you a natural and immediate bronzed glow.
Mystic Tan Sunless Booth

Mystic Tan is a private, self-contained booth that sprays a fine formulated mist containing DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) which reacts with proteins in the skin to form a natural-looking tan. You will get an instant bronze and your skin will continue to darken, reaching peak color in about 24 hours. Three color levels are available and the entire process takes about 10 minutes. (No appointment is required.)
Evolv Sunless Tanning Equipment

EVOLV is the first mobile, heat-infused airbrush tanning system which is hand applied by a certified technician. A gentle flow of warm air is combined with the mist containing DHA (Dihydroxyacetone) which reacts with proteins in the skin to form a natural-looking tan. Your technician will work with you to choose the perfect custom color. Results are simply amazing. (An appointment is required.)
Frequently Asked Questions about Sunless Tanning

How should I prepare?

Shower, shave, and exfoliate the day before your session. It is best to wear loose, dark-colored clothing and refrain from moisturizers, perfumes, and lotions.

What should I wear during my session?

Attire for women is whatever they are comfortable with. Disposable bras and thong underwear can be provided, if desired. Attire for men is boxers, briefs, or swim trunks.

How do I take care of my sunless tan?

It is recommended to wait at least 4 to 6 hours before showering or participating in activities that cause excessive perspiration. It’s best to schedule any hair or nail appointments before the spray session or on/after the following day. Be sure to keep your skin moisturized and avoid exfoliation for 5 to 7 days.

How long will my sunless tan last?

Your sunless color can last up to 8 days, depending on the type and amount of solution applied. Exposure to highly chlorinated water will decrease the longevity of your tan.
